General Library Programs

Emporia State - hybrid course offered in Sioux Falls, SD.  Graduate courses toward an MLS or School Library Media licensure.
Western Dakota Tech - 1-year (undergraduate) diploma or a 2-year certificate program in Rapid City, SD.
Kent State University program for K-12 school library media 

School Library Media Programs

 

SD State Library Offerings

Public Library Institute - offered every summer for public librarians leading to an SD Certificate in Public Library Management after four years.
School Library Boot Camp - offered annually for any South Dakota educator. Earn college credit from BHSU which can be applied to the library media minor from BHSU and then on to endorsement via SD DOE. This course may be repeated.
