Provided by StarNet, the SEAL kits provide a "program in a box" option for solar science at public libraries and include featured books, engaging activities, and solar viewing instruments. This easily integrated program option is a great fit for both before and after the October 2023 and April 2024 eclipses when interest may be especially high!
These kits are for checkout to SD libraries to be used for programming. Libraries are not permitted to check these items out to patrons.
The Solar Eclipse Activities for Libraries (SEAL) program for libraries was created by StarNet with funding from the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation.
