The 2024 Summer Reading Survey is due Sept 9.

• The survey can be found in Counting Opinions by logging in with your single sign-on. If you cannot recall what email you have used previously to access Counting Opinions, please contact Amanda Raiche or Shawn Behrends.
• The survey opens each year in late May and we encourage you to log into Counting Opinions to check it out before summer and familiarize yourself with the information we are requesting. It will make filling it out at the end of summer easier if you are prepared and have been collecting the appropriate stats throughout your program. 
• All SD public libraries that submit the 2024 Summer Reading Survey will receive the 2025 CSLP Summer Reading manual access code AND a $50 voucher for the CSLP store. **Even if your library did not hold a summer program this year, a survey must still be submitted in order to receive these! Simply note that you did not hold a summer program by clicking the provided boxes within the survey.
•  2025 manual codes to access the online manual and the voucher codes for $50 at the CSLP store will be sent out via email this October to the staff person listed in the survey.

• *Please note - CSLP store vouchers were previously given to libraries that attended Jump Start workshops. This year, they will instead be given to libraries that have submitted their Summer Reading Survey by Sept 9 and the shopping deadline will be earlier.

The Summer Reading Survey can be accessed through the Counting Opinions portal. Navigate to this year's Summer Reading Survey by following the steps below:

1. Log into your library's account.
2. Select the "Summer Reading Program Survey" from the Collection dropdown menu.
3. Select "2024" from the Period dropdown menu.
